By beating La Center tonight in the first game of the season, Ridgefield equaled its win total from last year.
The 19-0 non-league win came almost completely on the ground. Junior running back Hunter Abrams punched in two and Tanner Roberts one.
First-year Ridgefield head coach Chris Abrams said starting the season off with a win felt great and that he was happy his team was rewarded for their hard work.
As for the heavy run game, Chris Abrams said he had a lot of confidence in his front line going into the game.

Prairie ushered in the Mike Peck coaching era with a win. The Falcons beat Parkrose 33-0 at Battle Ground District Stadium.
Battle Ground fell 56-7 to Bethel on the road.
