The La Center softball team stayed perfect in dominating fashion Friday, defeating Kalama 15-0 in a game that required the mercy rule after four innings.
Abby England had five strikeouts for La Center and only one walk. She added a double, three runs and 2 RBI at the plate . Offensively, Paige Stinson had 4 RBIs after going 2 for 4 with a home run. Jessi Weaver was 4 for 4 with 2 runs and 4 RBIs. Lilly Casey was 4 for 4 with a double and four runs. Kayla Aguirre and Hannah Chromey were each 2 for 3.
The Wildcats are 12-0 record on the season and were scheduled to play Castle Rock Tuesday.
They’re in first in the 1A Trico League.
