Francine Elaine (Simonson) Forney, formerly of Hockinson, passed away April 19, 2019, at Benefis Peace Hospice in Great Falls, Montana of natural causes at age 92. A local service is planned for 10 a.m., Friday, May 3 at 1101 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver.

Richard “Dick” Jagelski, born October 9, 1939, passed away at his home in Vancouver on February 8, 2019. He was 79.

Raised in Marlette, Michigan, Gary McMann graduated from Marlette High school early to join the Navy.

    David Lee Kennedy passed away on March 4, 2019 of cancer and pneumonia at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas, OR. 

    James “Jimmy” A. Turner, age 72 of Woodland, passed away at home of a heart attack. He was born in Minneapolis, MN May 24, 1946 with his twin sister Jean Shaw. The family moved to Woodland in 1948 where he lived the remainder of his life. 

    Eleanor Pifer-Pallay, born October 10, 1944 to Thelma and Harvey Pifer in Eugene, OR, passed away unexpectedly in Houston, TX on March 11, 2019. 

Betty Jo Potter Casewell, 84 of La Center, passed away Feb. 27, 2019. She was born June 12, 1934, in Converse County, Wyoming. She is survived by her son and daughter, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Dean Rodney Bjur, 81 of Ridgefield, passed away on March 27, 2019 in Vancouver, Washington. He was born Feb. 26, 1938. He was a member of Mountain View Christian for over 60 years. 

Amelia (Mildred), 97 ,was born in Melbeta, Nebraska to Henry and Anna Greenwaldt. She was the youngest of five sisters and one brother, later joined by a younger brother. At age 6, the family moved to the Nisland, SD vicinity, where they farmed. 

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Gordon Leonard Homola, passed away peacefully on March, 19, 2019 at his home in Woodland, Washington at the age of 84. He was born June 15th, 1934 in Fredonia, ND to William and Mayme (Niskanen) Homola.

Chester Wayne Sarkinen was born on January 1st, 1934 in Gackle, North Dakota to Olof and Aune (Hervi) Sarkinen. He passed away at age 85 in his home in Battle Ground, WA with his dear wife and daughter by his side.

Howard William Pellham, 101, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on March 12, 2019. He passed away at Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata, WA after his health had been failing.

David L. Frazier, age 84, went to the Lord March 21, 2019. Wife of 34 years, Ona Frazier took care of him up until the last few days. He passed at Elaine and Don Heimbitner Hospice Center where they took great care of him.
