Bruce Delbert Kenworthy was born in Kirkland, Washington, on Feb. 7, 1942, and passed away in Portland, Oregon, on March 27, 2024. From being a tugboat deckhand and soil technician in Alaska, an educator in the Evergreen School District, a Tae Kwon Do instructor in Camas, Washington, and 10 years as a truck driver, Bruce showed his curiosity, compassion for others and dedication to hard work. Throughout his life, his quiet presence and acceptance of others as they are made him a special person for many. He is remembered fondly and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, his two sons and their wives, grandson, his six younger brothers and sisters and their extended families.
A gathering for Bruce will be at Lewisville Park at the Central Shelter at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, followed by music.
