The Battle Ground Little League 8- to 10-year-old all-star team captured the Washington District 6 championship June 20 in Yacolt. These girls are going to play in the state tournament, which starts Saturday at Cheney High School. The Battle Ground all-stars are Lily Anderson, Lilly Brown, Lilian Dunn, McKenna Fields, Emma Hagedorn, Brooklyn Lish, Quinn Lundy, Megan Moore, Cerena Niblack, Scarlett Perin, Mia Tatkovski and Paige Vuylsteke. Nathan Dunn is the manager, and Stephanie Anderson and Beau Brown are the coaches.
