Citizens of the 17th Legislative District have the opportunity to vote for Vicki Kraft for state Representative, Position 1.
I have been an educator in Vancouver for 22 years. I appreciate the fact that Vicki realizes education should be the top priority and the first funds allocated by the Legislature in compliance with the McCleary decision. Vicki is on the right track to move away from national mandates to state and local control, especially when it comes to the learning needs of our children.
She favors various educational choices for students and parents such as charter schools and online learning for individualizing learning experiences for our children.
