Editor,
The Shoe cartoon that [The Reflector] ran in the Nov. 15 edition says it all. [There is] no better example than the Woodland City Council, which didn’t vote on the change to single-family housing. [It was] an opportunity to preserve pride of ownership and what likely would have been a better community.
Because of this, we will now have to contend with more traffic on [state Route] 503 and the likelihood of more crime.
The City Council seemed more interested in just preservation than doing it. I would have preferred a vote for the change, but I would have more support for one who voted, regardless of how.
I am surprised by how many votes they garnered as they should have received more.
I guess we have uninformed voters.
