For those wishing to live in an area where everyone would have the same viewpoint about things that they do, I’m glad I’ve lived inside the city of Battle Ground, since we moved here in 1993. It’s the diversity in my neighbors and friends that inspires me. Our opinions may differ a lot, leading to heated discussions at times, but not to the point of threatening each other. It’s called neighborly respect.
I’m still a Northeast Kansas farm girl, who enjoys looking at the farms and architecture here, which is so similar to back home where we lack the mountains and tall evergreens. People help neighbors wherever I’ve lived, from the east to west coasts and cities in between. Come join the crowd.
