Spaghetti Feed and Concert to benefit Veterans Garden

A Spaghetti Feed, Concert and Silent Auction fundraiser will be held Fri., Jan. 23, 4-8 p.m., at the 40 et 8 Club House, 7607 NE 26th Ave., Vancouver, by the Bingo Hall on 78th Street. This will be a fundraiser for the Veterans Community Garden Project.

The dinner will be from 4-8 p.m. and live music will be provided by the Old Time Fiddlers, vocalist Rachel Len of Fargher Lake and ragtime piano by Art Miller. In addition, there will be a silent auction and a children’s talent contest.

The purpose of the Clark County Veterans Community Garden is to provide a community garden specially created to benefit veterans. The garden will promote self-reliance, physical activity, social interaction and contributes to the health and well being of veterans in the community.



The lead sponsor of the Veterans Community Garden is the Clark County Veterans Court Board. Other sponsors include Advance Drainage Systems, DeWils Fine Cabinetry & Appliances, Global Security, Premiere Property Group LLC, Law Office of Diana C. Tehrani, PLLC, Ashbrook Medical & Aesthetics and Riverview Community Bank.

A tax-deductible donation can be made at any Riverview Community Bank branch or online at www.ClarkCountyVetsCourtBoard.org. Cost to attend the Spaghetti Feed and Concert is $8 for adults and $5 for children.
