Clark County does not need a casino

Absolutely the Cowlitz casino should not be built.

A trust was illegally done. Land put in trust is only to be considered on reservation and/or established tribal land as Yakama, Klamath, Warm Springs, Cherokee, or Nez Perce. The Cowlitz has not owned the land or been established in Clark County.

It is unthinkable of putting sewer deep in the ground to pollute the aquifer; let an individual or business try to do that. The regulation, permit and fees and fines put on farmers, loggers, construction projects to contain runoff and then let the Cowlitz Tribe even consider such a pollution project.

Gambling is a curse anywhere and for someone to gain, many more lose and usually those who can’t afford it as we all are tempted with getting something for nothing which is coveting, which is sin.

We don’t need or want this casino in Clark County.
