I admire the dedication of the animal rights people who placed markers for the dead chickens. However, they may want to choose a different symbol to display. A cross on a grave represents belief that Jesus Christ experienced death in our place and that he guarantees our resurrection. Since he died for human beings, who are made in the image of God, there is no reason to believe that these chickens will be resurrected.
