Take the health of others into consideration

Now that there is a lot of attention on the measles, my advice to everyone is to get your vaccinations. The doctor in England that said vaccinations caused autism was totally debunked and lost his medical license. Also, the cover story in the March issue of Reader’s Digest says it is a myth that other things in vaccinations cause problems.

I would like to bring something else to your attention. Contagious diseases like the cold can be a problem and annoyance to most of you who have good health. But to those of us, like myself, that have chronic health problems, these minor diseases can be more of a problem. If everyone would take extra cautions when they have a cold or stomach flu, or any contagious disease, it would help everyone, especially those of us who have chronic health problems. If you are a store clerk or anyone in contact with the public, please stay home when you are sick, if you can, or ask your boss if you can work in another position where you are not in contact with the public.
