Are you an offensive or defensive driver?

Posted

I’m convinced that many drivers don't know the difference between defensive and offensive car driving. Here is a short quiz to see what you are:

You might be an offensive driver if you:

1. Drive slowly in the left lane of a four-lane highway because you plan to make a left turn one-plus miles ahead

2. Deserve to stay in the left lane because you're driving the speed limit and that's fast enough for everyone

3. Refuse to pull right to let someone pass forcing them to pass on the right

4. Don't signal your lane changes or turns

5. Squeeze between cars in the other lane because you had the turn signal on

6. Didn't turn on the headlights on rainy or dark days because you can still see the other vehicles

You get the point — there are drivers on the road who believe that they are defensive drivers but are actually offensive drivers creating dangerous situations.
