Celeste Kreiensieck, a longtime resident of Battle Ground, Washington, died suddenly on March 13, 2019.

Celeste was born in Aurora, Colorado but spent much of her earlier years in Boise, Idaho. In 1977 Celeste started a cross country adventure as a Computer Consult working in Columbia, Maryland, Dallas, Texas, Palo Alto and San Francisco California before returning to Boise, Idaho. In 1996 Celeste along with her life partner moved to Battle Ground.

While living in Battle ground worked for several employers and eventually retired to run an alpaca ranch. After 15 years of taking care of the alpacas, the alpacas were sold off just before her death. Celeste was well known within the Hand Spinners circles and enjoyed processing the fiber from her alpacas.

Celeste is survived by her sister Donna Kreiensieck of Boise, Idaho,  her life partner Bob Cross and many relatives and friends.
