David L. Frazier, age 84, went to the Lord March 21, 2019. Wife of 34 years, Ona Frazier took care of him up until the last few days. He passed at Elaine and Don Heimbitner Hospice Center where they took great care of him.
He was born in Longview to Earl and Katharyn Frazier on July 7, 1934. David was the only son of three kids, sisters, Patsy and Elizabeth. David grew up in Woodland until the age of 14, then moved to View, which is where he lived his life out.
David joined the Air Force at the age of 18 and got out at the age of 22. He owned Mt. View Blueberry Farm and David Frazier Trucking. He retired from District 10 Fire Department after 25 years.
He was a very hard working man, a loyal friend and a loving husband and stepfather. David was a stepfather to Rebecca Post, Angela Tussey, Sharma Hardee, John Anderson, Elouise Bolle, Patricia Shepard, Ben Frazier and deceased Troleta Baird and Kathy Cain. David had 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and deceased grandchildren Matthew Davidson Jr. and Bryce Schurman.
We cannot forget his loving companion Winston, his dog, whom he did not go anywhere without, whether it was up the road or to bed.
Open service will be held at Hazen Chapel at Mt. View Cemetery, 38813 NE 119th Ave., Amboy, at 11 a.m. on March 30, 2019. All are welcome to attend. A private burial will be held at a later date. All prayers at this time are appreciated.
