The Montana State University 2014 fall semester honor roll included some students from the North Clark County area. There are two honor roll lists – the President’s and the Dean’s Honor Roll. Students must complete 12 credit hours to qualify for either list. Students with perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the semester were named to the President’s Honor Roll. North Clark County students named to the President’s Honor Roll for the 2014 fall semester included Allie Sorenson from Brush Prairie, and students named to the Dean’s Honor Roll included Anna Borden, Brittany Guest and Luke Middelstadt all from Battle Ground. The Dean’s Honor Roll includes the students earning grade point averages of 3.5 or above for the semester.

Some North Clark County students were named to the Dean’s List for the 2014 fall semester at Northwest Nazarene University. Students included Kayla Siepmann of Battle Ground, Jadyn Gourley of Brush Prairie, Erin Ratliff of La Center, Catherine Swanson and Alexandria Johnson of Ridgefield, and Kelly Nigro of Woodland. To be eligible for this academic honor, a student must earn a 3.5 grade point average while taking at least 12 graded credit hours of class.

Northwest Nazarene University, a Christian comprehensive university, offers more than 60 areas of study and 19 master’s degrees in seven different disciplines. John Defilippis, an art-painting major from Ridgefield, has been named to the University of Dallas Honor Roll for the fall 2014 semester for earning a semester grade point average of 3.0-3.49.

Desiree Dhanens from Battle Ground was named to the 2014 fall semester Dean’s List at the University of Montana Western in Dillon, MT. To achieve this honor, students must be enrolled full time or for 12 semester credits and carry a minimum 3.33 grade point average.

Emma Elizabeth Fix and Darya Stepanovna Yastred of Battle Ground were recently named to the 2014 autumn quarter Dean’s List at Seattle Pacific University.

The President’s Honor Roll recognizes students who stand above the rest with excellent academic performance. To be eligible for the honor roll, undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of nine graded hours in a single term at WSU and earn a grade point average of 3.75 or earn a 3.50 cumulative GPA based on 15 cumulative hours of graded work.
