YACOLT MAYOR Jeff Carothers congratulates new Yacolt Town Council member Katelyn Listek during a regular town council meeting on May 16.
AT the Yacolt Town Council meeting on Monday, May 16, council members appointed Katelyn Listek to council position No. 1, filling the vacancy left when council member Josh Karl resigned.
Position No. 1 will be on the ballot during the 2017 General Election when a successor will be elected to serve the final two years of that position’s regular four-year term.
