On June 1, Battle Ground High School, Chief Umtuch Middle School, Captain Strong Elementary and the Character and Academics for the Marketplace Academy were locked down for about 15 minutes Friday due to police activity nearby.
The lockdown was lifted as soon as the police resolved the situation. All students are safe and the schools continued on their regular schedules.
