As the summer months rapidly approach, so do a number of Vacation Bible School programs offered at various churches around the area.
Area churches will offer different Vacation Bible School programs and activities from June until August. Some churches offer themed programs, while others sometimes offer sports camps and others.
Most Vacation Bible School programs last for about a week, and almost all programs are free, but parents should check with each individual church/program to confirm. Donations are usually accepted to help pay for supplies.
Some programs also offer a free meal such as a lunch or snack, but some programs require children to bring their own lunches.

Charter Oak Community Church
Charter Oak Community Church will offer “Everest: Conquering Challenges With God’s Mighty Power” Free Vacation Bible Camp, June 21-25, 6-8:30 p.m., for children ages 4 years-5th grade. Landmark Church
Landmark Church will hold “Bible Land Adventures”. A Free Kids Days, with “fun stuff that kids love to do,” June 23-25, 10am-Noon, for children of all ages. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
Vacation Bible School, “Camp Killimanjaro” will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, June 22-26, 9am-Noon, for children ages 3 years-6th grade. There is no cost, but free-will donations are accepted. The church will also again hold their Sports Camp, Soccer & Basketball, June 22-26, for grades PreK-6th grade. Bethel Lutheran Church
Bethel Lutheran Church will offer “Everest: Conquering Challenges With God’s Mighty Power” Vacation Bible School, July 6-10, 9am-Noon, for children ages 4-10 years old. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long.
