Four North County Boy Scouts earn Eagle rank

Three North County Boy Scouts from the Fort Vancouver District successfully passed their Eagle Scout board of review in April and have advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout. Collectively, these Boy Scouts planned and led a total of 406 hours of community service and provided positive benefits to the organizations they served.

Kyler Thomas Clary, of Boy Scout Venture Crew 315, led a group of scouts and adult volunteers in the building of a 400-foot fence for Pioneer Cemetery. Kyler, 18, is the son of Tycilee and Sean Walker and John and Bridget Clary. He is a senior at Prairie High School and a  Running Start student at Clark College. He performed 98 hours of community service.  

Noah Young Westerberg, of Boy Scout Troop 3420, led a group of scouts and adult volunteers in building a fire pit for the Elks. Noah, 18, is the son of Warren and Nina Westerberg. He is a senior at La Center High School. He performed 173 hours of community service.

Justin Michael Smith, of Boy Scout Varsity 371, led a group of scouts and adult volunteers in collecting supplies for Share House. Justin, 14, is the son of Larry and Sherry Smith. He is in eighth grade at Tukes Valley Middle School. He performed 55 hours of community service.  



Jacob Stephen Neil, of Boy Scout Venture Crew 637, led a group of scouts and adult volunteers in constructing a vegetable wash and processing table benefiting the harvest at Clark County’s 78th Street Heritage Farm. Jacob, 18, is the son of Alisa and David Neil. He is a senior at Ridgefield High School. He performed 80 hours of community service.
