Amber Sweeney to headline at Rocksolid’s Annual Summer Concert

Posted

Battle Ground’s Amber Sweeney will headline Rocksolid’s Second Annual Summer Concert Saturday, Aug. 19 at Mouton Falls Winery.

She will be joined by another local band, Exquisite Taste of Plain Water. The host, Moulton Falls Winery, will have their award-winning cider, wine, beer and food available to purchase — no outside food or beverage allowed.

Sponsors of this year’s event are S & T Truck Repair, Morton’s Stoves, Pools & Spas, Renner’s Real Estate and Blairco Heating & Air Conditioning.

There will be raffle items to support Rocksolid’s fundraising goal.

“We are hoping to raise enough funds to update our multi-purpose Theater Room, where we host guest speaker presentations and show educational based programs and entertaining movies,”  stated Executive Director Marcy Sprecher in a news release. “Our system is 16 years old, and as you can imagine, is in dire need of updating. Last year’s event was a huge hit, we plan to double that this year. This is a great family fun concert. We are grateful for our sponsors, entertainers, venue and guests who support our program.”
