The Fort Vancouver Lions Club Foundation is selling frozen berries as a fundraiser to benefit several Clark County nonprofits.
The eighth annual berry sales includes 10 pounds of frozen raspberries for $45, Marion berries for $35, blueberries for $40 and strawberries for $35. The deadline to order is Wed., Aug. 20.
Payment can be done online by accessing www.fortvancouverlions.org and clicking on the link for frozen berries. Checks made out to Fort Vancouver Lions Foundation can be mailed to Fort Vancouver Lions, 16205 SE Evergreen Highway, Vancouver, WA 98683. Confirmation of orders and a pick-up location will be made to purchasers.
A total of 100 percent of net proceeds will be donated to one of the Lions’ charities, which include Clark County Sight, Clark College Scholarship, Clark County Hearing, Lions Eye Bank, Walk and Knock Food Drive and Washington Elementary School.
