After 10 years of spending the majority of her time in bed dealing with agonizing pain, Christina Orefice is finally able to have the life she’s always deserved.
From 16 to 26 years old, Orefice experienced chronic neck, head, and back pain and several other injuries as a result of an automobile accident that nearly killed both she and her mother Cheryle.
Unable to identify the cause of her pain, doctors could do nothing but supply her with pain killers and hope the intense pain would subside. After 10 years, the Orefice family began to lose hope that Christina would ever be the same life-loving girl she once was. As a last resort, Rocky and Cheryle Orefice sent their daughter to complete a 30-day intensive wellness program with Dr. Zayd Ratansi in California.
Dr. Ratansi, for 17 years, has been achieving amazing results helping support the body to heal itself when given the proper energy using among many things, hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Christina's treatments included twice daily hyperbaric oxygen treatments, infrared light therapy, infrared sauna, and peat mud baths. In those 30 days, her only responsibility was to focus on healing. After that month of treatment, she was responding amazingly well and returned home where she felt she had been given her life back. Not only did her pain fade away, but she had energy to do more than the average person. Words could not describe how excited her family was that Christina was back.
Her parents, Rocky and Cheryle, were so amazed by the results of these therapies that they were inspired to open their own wellness center, Wellness Without Limits @ Replenish, in Vancouver, where Dr. Ratansi is their medical advisor.
The hope is they are making what is normally a very expensive, difficult to access and scare resource, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, accessible to people who have lost their hope of finding something to help, just as the they had, right here in the greater Vancouver/Portland area.
