The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington recently welcomed Maria Ramzi to its board of directors.

Ramzi is a registered medical technologist with experience in multiple settings. She has been an English-as-second-language teacher, and currently volunteers at the Free Clinic as a Spanish interpreter. She is an advocate for migrating Latinos.

Also joining the Free Clinic Board is Paul Stednitz, VP Branch Services for Columbia Credit Union. Stednitz came to the Vancouver area from Bend, OR, a little over a year ago. There, he served on another nonprofit board, where he was involved in planned giving and strategic planning. He looks forward to giving back to his new community by joining this board.

The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington is observing its 25th year of providing free, compassionate, quality healthcare to uninsured/underinsured children and adults in Clark County. The Free Clinic offers medical, dental, vision and specialty care services that are provided by over 600 volunteer professionals. It is funded by the local community and all donations stay in Southwest Washington.
