Woodland seeks volunteers for Parks and Rec board

The City of Woodland is seeking to fill two vacant positions on its Parks and Recreation Board.

Applicants must reside within Woodland city limits and will serve a four-year term. Woodland’s Parks and Recreation Board consists of five members who meet regularly at 4 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each, or as necessary.

The Parks and Recreation Board is responsible for managing Woodland recreational facilities. The board also recommends the adoption of rules and regulations related to parks, playgrounds, Horseshoe Lake and other recreational facilities to the City Council.

The first review of applications will be at noon on Friday, April 5.
