Winter is abundant with senior activities in BG

Posted

The cold, wet weather is here to stay for the next few months, but area seniors can stay warm and active by participating in a variety of outings, activities and events offered by the Battle Ground Parks & Recreation Department.

The Battle Ground Parks & Recreation Department partners with the Battle Ground Senior Advisory Board and other area organizations to bring a variety of fitness programs and social activities for people age 50 and better. All of these activities are listed in The Senior Scene, a quarterly newsletter that highlights activities and events in the Battle Ground area.

The Senior Scene can be found online at www.cityofbg.org under “Departments,” “Parks & Recreation,” “Recreation Programs,” “Senior Programs.”
