20-year old Battle Ground man identified in Feb. 16 fatal crash
A man pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Friday, Feb. 16 has been identified as 20-year-old Tyler Wicht of Battle Ground.
A 911 caller reported a vehicle had crashed into a tree near the 19400 block of Northeast Risto Road in Clark County at 6:55 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16. When first responders arrived, they found the Wicht deceased at the scene. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit conducted the investigation.
According to the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office, Wicht suffered multiple blunt force injuries as a result of his crash.
Multiple vehicle collision leaves one dead near Amboy
One driver died after several vehicles collided around 3 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, in the 18600 block of Northeast 399th Street near Amboy. The driver reportedly died while being transported to an area hospital, a release by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office stated. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is currently investigating with no further information available as of late Friday, Feb. 23.
