The Reflector launches annual donation drive

Posted

Here at The Reflector, we strive to bring the communities of North Clark County news that matters to them.

Whether that is coverage of a city council meeting, a state championship game or a local festival, our team believes an informed citizenry is important.

Our model is built on the knowledge that not everyone can afford a subscription to their local newspaper, but nonetheless, everyone deserves access to reliable, accurate information about the communities they live and work in.

As many newspapers across the country downsize their staff or reduce the frequency of their print products, we’re working to bring more offerings to our readers.

Last year, we launched our Entertainment Extra guide, brought back the tourism guide, expanded our coverage of local sports teams and added a new monthly page focused on area history.

Our award winning staff does this all while delivering The Reflector to people’s front door steps for free.

It hasn’t been without its challenges. While we’ve experienced some issues with the delivery of The Reflector, we’re working hard to bring back routes to ensure everyone in our communities has access to news they trust and will continue to do so.

None of this would be possible without the support of our readers.

Each year, The Reflector holds a voluntary donation drive. The support has been immense and the generosity of our readers has allowed us to continually keep people informed about local happenings.

In the June 28 edition of The Reflector, readers will find a donation envelope. While there is no obligation to give, every donation helps fuel our newsroom and its mission to report the news that’s important to our communities.

As we enter our 114th year of publication, we hope you see the value in the news coverage we provide and help us as we continue to provide important information with integrity to communities in North Clark County.
