The Silver Dragon restaurant in Battle Ground is preparing to make some changes to an already successful business.
According to owner Alan Wan, the newest change at the Silver Dragon is the option for delivery. For just $3 per delivery, Silver Dragon will deliver anywhere inside the Battle Ground city limits.
“We have been thinking about doing this for a while now,” said Wan, who has owned the restaurant for 18 years. “Our customers asked us if we thought about it so now we deliver.”
Wan enlisted long-time friend Blayne Bradley to help kick-off the new venture.
“It’s a great service to have,” said Bradley. “Not a lot of places deliver around here so I am glad I can help a friend out.”
Delivery is available Thurs.-Sun., 4:30-10 p.m.
Silver Dragon’s all-you-can-eat lunch buffet continues to be available Mon.-Fri., 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The buffet is $5.50 before tax and includes dishes such as spring rolls, crab puffs, sweet and sour chicken, barbecue pork and more.
Wan said he is looking to add new things to the buffet menu as well.
“First, we wanted to get this delivery stuff done first,” said Wan. “We also want to expand the menu, which I am working on with my daughter.”
Wan said he always has time to take suggestions from customers about what they would like to see on the menu. He said he still has plans to expand the vegetarian menu as well.
Silver Dragon is located at 403 West Main St., Battle Ground. The restaurant is open daily, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and can be reached at (360) 687-7448.
