Attendees braved the hot weather for the 2021 Ridgefield Sausage Festival this weekend at Abrams Park.

The festival, which was presented by ilani and the Ridgefield Lions Club, featured live music, a beer garden, vendor booths, Zenner’s grilled sausages and carnival games.

“(Participants) made our volunteers, sponsors and vendors all happy to be a part of (their) weekend and we can’t wait to build on this community spirit next summer,” Ridgefield Sausage Festival organizers wrote on a Facebook post.

For the children participants, the Ridgefield Cub Scout Pack 310 operated a variety of carnival-style games.

The troop includes 16 boys and nine girls.

Vendors lined the edge of the park, which included Silagy Sauce, Hoof & Petals, Sutton’s Tropical Sno and Perfectly Polished by Jill.
