Public comment invited on the Clark County 2024 Regional Transportation Plan

Posted

The Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Council (RTC) is encouraging public comment on the 2024 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) for Clark County. The RTP is the foundational document for transportation infrastructure, policy and planning in Clark County, according to a news release. It identifies future regional transportation system needs and outlines transportation plans and improvements necessary to preserve mobility within and throughout the region, as well as access to land uses within the region. The RTP is the long-range, multimodal plan for the Clark County region from 2024-45. The draft RTP can be viewed at rtc.wa.gov/reports/rtp/Rtp2024Clark-draft.pdf.

The formal public comment and review period will run through Jan. 11. The RTC Board is scheduled to approve the final 2024 Regional Transportation Plan for Clark County at its Feb. 6, 2024, meeting.

Written comments may be sent to RTC, PO Box 1366, Vancouver, WA 98666-1366, or use the Feedback Form on the Regional Transportation Plan for Clark County webpage.
