Those who are planning to pursue higher education are invited to Washington State University Vancouver’s preview day at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
Guests will learn about WSU Vancouver’s admissions process, what it’s like to be a student and the basics of paying for college during the two-hour program, a news release from the college stated.
Attendees can meet with admissions counselors, who will provide an overview of the campus, admissions requirements and how to apply. Financial aid experts will also talk about how to apply for grants, loans and scholarships to cover costs.
Attendees can also take part in campus tours led by student ambassadors, the release stated. Other students will speak about campus life, academics and student support services.
The release notes all attendees will have the opportunity to go home with WSU prizes.
The event is free and open to the public.
Check in begins at 9:45 a.m. in the Dengerink Administration Building on campus at 14204 NE Salmon Creek Ave., Vancouver.
