Accolades to the City of Ridgefield and the Ridgefield Multicultural Initiative for hosting the sixth annual Multicultural Festival on Saturday, Sept. 2. Downtown was filled with an array of vendors, visitors and incredible performers. Further, there was dancing in the street open to all and classes for people to learn drumming, dancing and singing. Exhibits included
a pop-up children’s museum, produce tables, culturally-based games and books, and excellent food carts. It was wonderful to celebrate the diverse heritage of our community! Thanks to the organizers, presenters, vendors and volunteers.
This event happens annually on the first Saturday of September. It gets better and better every year. Mark your calendar now so you don’t miss the fun next year!
