The City of La Center is seeking survey input from residents regarding the construction of a new pathway along Pacific Highway.
The 1,600-foot path will connect Larsen Drive to Kay’s subdivision and provide an alternate route to downtown La Center, the city survey stated.
In addition to determining public interest in the path’s construction, the survey will also help the city pursue grant funding. The city is currently considering applying for a grant that funds pathways for pedestrians and bicyclists, the survey stated.
The online survey is available at surveymonkey.com/r/LaCen terUsePath. Responses are due by Thursday, May 23.
