Wayne Oltmann was born Feb. 3, 1951, and passed away Jan. 11, 2024, at 72. He faced each day with strength, a feisty spirit and determination.
Wayne was born in Vancouver, Washington, to Dewy and Anne Oltmann. He spent his childhood in Battle Ground and graduated from Battle Ground High School.
Wayne is survived by his children, Rick and Tim Oltmann; siblings Fred and Tom Oltmann, his children and seven beloved grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sister Marlis Peters, parents Dewy and Anne Oltmann, daughter-in-law Stephanie Oltmann and grandchild Angel Oltmann.
Wayne enjoyed his sweets, an occasional trip to the casino for a game of cards and a good car show. He was renowned for his ability to repair and restore anything. Wayne devoted much of his time to bending wrenches and helping family and friends with just about anything.
Celebration of life will be held at Manor Grange Hall, 17901 NE 72nd Ave., Battle Ground, Washington, March 2, at 1 p.m.. Please bring your favorite sweets and memories of Wayne to share. To commemorate Wayne’s love for cars, please drive your favorite hot rod.
