Scott David Schrader was born Oct. 14, 1955, at Memorial Hospital in Vancouver. He joined parents Henry and May Schrader, two brothers and a sister in Hockinson, living there most of his life.
He went to Hockinson School and was always proud of being a Hornet. A good drummer like his mother, he played for dances and parties. Rock ‘n’ roll and looking for gold remained his favorite thing to do.
Scott married Colleen Lamont. In 1977, they had a daughter, Corrie Ann, but the marriage didn’t last much longer after that. In 2003, Scott went on a trip with a friend and ended up living in Watertown, South Dakota for 14 years. He liked it there, but came back to live with his sister in 2017, dying unexpectedly on March 8, 2023.
He is survived by daughter Corrie, brothers Dean and Frank, and sister Connie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dan. Scott will be missed.
We’ll celebrate his life at 4 p.m. on May 8, 2023, at the Prairie Tavern.
He was cremated and will be buried with his dad at a later date.
