In loving memory of Norman Donald MacKay 1945-2024

Norman Donald MacKay was born on July 14, 1935, in Chinook, Montana, to Norman and Margaret MacKay, originally from Stornoway, Scotland. Norman grew up in Havre, Montana, with his two older brothers, John and Murdo, and one older sister, Jessie. He attended Northern Montana College where he met his wife, Sharee Connelly. Don worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 24 years, retiring in 1994. Don is survived by his wife of 65 years; his daughters, Vicki (Jim) Donald and Lori Newburn; 16 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Murdo (Ilo) MacKay. A memorial service for Don will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Woodland Christian Church in Woodland, Washington.
