Gerry Adolfson passed away on April 4, 2023, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on Feb. 22, 1943, in San Francisco, California to Harry and Esther Adolfson, Gerry grew up in Amboy and graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1961.
He was married to Linda (nee Harlow) for 23 years and they had 3 children: Janell (Adam) Blackmer, Roni (Dave) Normine and Willy Adolfson. He had four grandchildren: Breanna and Tyler Normine, and Wesley and Rebekah Blackmer.
Gerry retired from the Clark Public Utilities as a lineman and serviceman after 30 years. He spent the last 30 years with a very special lady, Margie Lehto. Together they enjoyed camping, playing cards, clamming, hunting, woodworking and throwing parties for family and friends. Services will be held at Landmark Church in Battle Ground at 11 a.m. on April 29, 2023, with cake and coffee to follow. The strength of a Finn is the SISU within.
