Gary G. Conn attended school in the Portland area before graduating from Columbia Academy in 1964. He joined the Marines from 1965 to 1969. Gary served two tours in Vietnam. He was discharged from active service and transferred to the Marine Corps Reserves until 1971.

He and his wife, Sharon, married in 1974. Gary then became the father to Sharon's four little girls. Two years later, the family moved to Vancouver, Washington, where he became a long haul truck driver for the next 30-plus years. In 1994, he and his family moved to Battle Ground, Washington, where he and his wife still lived until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters, Bridget Dunham, Brenda Chandler (Rick), Amii Davis (Russ), and Katie Womack (Jason); son Gary Conn Jr.; brothers Fred Conn (Jeanette) and Chuck Arguijo; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gary was a loyal husband, father and friend. He was a cowboy at heart, a truck driver by trade, a Marine by choice and a child of God by birth. Some of his favorite music was Elvis Presley, Jim Reeves and Tennesse Ernie Ford Gospel music.

The memorial service is on April 29, 2023, at Meadow Glade Church at 11001 NE 189th St., Battle Ground, Washington.
