Beth L. Neale, 67, passed away on Jan. 18, 2022 in Vancouver, Washington. She was born in Vancouver, Washington to George and Joyce Wilde and grew up in the Walnut Grove neighborhood. Beth graduated from Hudson Bay High School in the class of 1972. Beth married in 1973 and was blessed with a lovely daughter, Erin. She was divorced a few years later. Beth joined Youth With A Mission in the mid ‘70s and served on staff at their bases in Kona, Hawaii, Tacoma, Washington and Hong Kong. After returning from mission work, Beth worked in various clerical and accounting positions in the Vancouver and Portland area. Beth married Mike Neale in 1995 and became a full-time homemaker. She also served in women’s ministries at the various churches she attended.
Beth is survived by husband Mike Neale of Vancouver, Washington; daughter Erin (Chris) Hemmer of Woodland, Washington; brother Dave (Nancy) Wilde of Vancouver, Washington; sister Nancy Flores of Battle Ground, Washington; and sister Nell (Steve) Johnson of Kalispell, Montana, and also by a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. at The Gathering Place Church in Vancouver, Washington.
