How area high school team sports stand after spring break

After the first half of the season and spring break, here’s how area high school softball, baseball and soccer teams sit in the standings.

Baseball

Battle Ground High School sat at 8-3 ahead of its 4A Greater St. Helens League (GSHL) series against the Camas Papermakers on Monday, April 8, Tuesday, April 9 and Thursday, April 11. The results of the first two game’s results were unavailable at press time. Thursday April 11’s game is slated for 4:30 p.m. at Camas High School.

Prairie High School sat at 8-2 ahead of its non-league matchup against R.A. Long High School on Tuesday, April 9. Results were unavailable at press time. The Falcons are slated to next play Peninsula High School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at home.

Ridgefield High School sat at 6-4 ahead of its 2A GSHL series with the Washougal Panthers on Monday, April 8, and Wednesday, April 10. The first game’s results were unavailable at press time. Wednesday’s game is slated for 4:30 p.m. at Washougal High School.

Woodland High School sat at 6-1 ahead of its 2A GSHL series with the Columbia River Rapids on Monday, April 8, and Wednesday, April 10. The first game’s results were unavailable at press time, but the Wednesday game is slated for 4:30 p.m. at home.

Hockinson High School sat at 4-3 ahead of its 2A GSHL series with Mark Morris High School on Monday, April 8, and Wednesday, April 10 with a makeup game against the Columbia River Rapids on Tuesday, April 9. La Center High School sat at 6-3 ahead of its 1A Trico League series against the Seton Catholic Cougars with a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 9, and the third game on Friday, April 12.
