High school athletes compete at John Ingram Twilight Track and Field Meet

High school track athletes from Clark and Cowlitz county high schools competed for an evening track and field affair at Columbia River High School on Friday, April 12.

The John Ingram Twilight Track and Field Meet began in the early evening and concluded after sundown.



From north Clark County schools, Ridgefield’s McKenna Calkins earned first place in the girls 100-meter sprint. Ridgefield’s Evan Hollis earned first place in the boys 800-meter race. Battle Ground’s Calvin Hubbard earned first place in the boys 110-meter hurdles. Prairie’s Will Foster threw the discus well enough for first place in the boys event. Ridgefield’s Addyson Bower jumped for first place in the girls high jump. Ridgefield’s Madison Ruddy leaped for first place in the girls triple jump.
