Bid at Furry Friends’ fourth annual auction fundraiser from noon, Wednesday, March 20, to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 24. The auction will take place online and benefit Furry Friends rescue efforts.
This year, the auction, “It’s Meow or Never,” will bring attention to the spring kitten season, a release by Furry Friends stated. Springtime is when kitten season kicks into full gear. Furry Friends anticipates it will perform over 550 spays and neuters this year to help the community’s cat population.
Funds from this online auction will go toward the over $50,000 cost of spay/neuter services Furry Friends is projecting and to help cover medical expenses for cats that need extra medical care, the press release stated.
This year’s auction will feature items from local businesses and individuals, such as art, gift baskets, pet items, personal items, handmade gifts and more, according to the press release.
