Firm Foundation Christian School teacher steps in as athletic director

Jodie Workman is stepping into the role of athletic director at the Firm Foundation Christian School. Workman has been an employee with Firm Foundation for 17 years as a physical education teacher for kindergarten through 12th grade.

“The role of athletic director involves lots of scheduling for practices and games, communication with other schools, as well as connecting with coaches, players and parents,” a release by Firm Foundation Christian School stated.

Firm Foundation offers intramural sports for elementary students, including a full soccer program in the fall. Middle school teams participate in the Metro-Christian league, and high school teams participate in the WIAA class 1B division.



“Firm Foundation is looking forward to the upcoming school year’s athletic seasons with their new athletic director,” the release stated.

In the fall, Firm Foundation will be offering soccer for elementary students, volleyball for middle school and high school, as well cross country and boys football partnered with Seton Catholic High School for high school students. In the winter, basketball will be offered for middle school and high school.
