Divers with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team (CCSAR) recovered the subject’s body on Wednesday, Feb. 14 following a missing person investigation.
The Ridgefield Police Department, Clark County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol Unit and CCSAR searched the waters around the Ridgefield Marina for the missing individual, who was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
The body of the missing individual was recovered in the evening of Feb. 14 after numerous unsuccessful dive attempts due to the poor conditions.
The identity of the individual and cause of death will be released by the Clark County Medical Examiner, Ridgefield Chief of Police Cathy Doriot said last week.
During the investigation, the Ridgefield boat ramp was temporarily closed on Feb. 13 and reopened Thursday, Feb. 15, the Port of Ridgefield stated on Facebook.
