Howl-o-ween Pooch Parade and Pet Costume Contest: 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St. Battle Ground Parks and Recreation is hosting its second annual Pooch Parade and Pet Costume Contest, featuring pets and costumes.

Fall Bazaar and Craft Show: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, Saturday, Oct. 28, North Clark County Historical Museum, 21416 N.E. 399th St., Amboy. Vendors will offer hand-crafted items such as signs, jewelry, potholders and much more. The museum will also be open during the event. There will be a quilt raffle with tickets available for $1 each. Ridgefield High School theatre presents Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”: Showings: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 7:30 p.m. Friday Nov. 3, and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. I Paw’d it Forward Haunted Maze and Raffle: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, The Rusty Barn Estates, 1402 S.W. 20th Ave., in Battle Ground. Proceeds benefit I Paw’d it Forward, a non-profit animal rescue organization whose mission is to make sure no animals are left behind.

Bethel Bazaar: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., 12919 N.E. 159th St., Saturday, Oct. 28, Brush Prairie. Bethel Lutheran Church is hosting a bazaar featuring hand-crafted goods from local vendors, a quilt raffle and free coffee and cookies. Go to bethelbrushprairie.org for more information.

Pop-up children’s museum: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, Artillery Barracks at Fort Vancouver, 600 Hatheway Road in Vancouver. The Historic Trust will host its free pumpkin party. The event features a morning of play and exploration with the Columbia Play Project. Activities include hands-on experiences, mini-pumpkin launching and glow-in-the-dark giveaways. Costumes are encouraged.

Clark Public Utilities StreamTeam tree planting: 9 a.m. registration, Saturday, Oct. 28, location and details upon pre-registration. Help restore critical habitat with the StreamTeam as they celebrate their hard-working volunteers on national Make a Difference Day. The event will include on-site training and all tools and trees will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to dress for the weather and bring reusable water bottles and mugs. Halloween Fright Night: 4 p.m.-6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31, Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St. Battle Ground Parks and Recreation is hosting the free, family-friendly event, which will feature Halloween themed games, prizes, a trunk-or-treat and candy.

Master Gardener online workshop: 12 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. The online workshop will focus on how to plant, grow and harvest popular herbs along with preserving, storing and using the herbs hosted by WSU Master Gardener Carolyn Winchell. Holiday Bazaar: 2 p.m.-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St. The Battle Ground Community Center is bringing together local crafters and artisans in the second annual holiday bazaar. It will feature over 45 vendors from throughout the area. Christmas Bazaar: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, Word of Grace Bible Church, 1317 NW 12th Ave., Battle Ground. Word of Grace Bible Church will be holding the third annual Christmas Bazaar with all handmade items and raffle items.

Coffee with the Chief: 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 6, Founder’s Mercantile and Coffee, 317 E. Main St., Battle Ground. People can meet with Fire District 3 Chief Scott Sorenson. He specifically wishes to hear from residents why they did not did not approve a fire levy lid lift in the August election.

Holiday Craft Night — Holiday Gnome Project: 6 p.m. Nov. 10, Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St. People ages 16 and over are invited to create holiday gnomes. The Parks and Recreation staff has taken care of all the details, including designing the craft and gathering supplies, and they will be on hand to provide guided instruction to the crafters. 2023 Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration: 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St. The City of Battle Ground will kick off the holiday season at its 34th annual holiday tree lighting. The event is free. After the lighting the Fire District 3 Engine and Battle Ground Police Department will escort Santa and Mrs. Claus into the Community Center to greet children. There will be holiday music and cookies and hot cocoa donated by Summit View Church.

Bliss Yoga: 9 to 10:15 a.m. on Tuesdays and from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the BG Holistic Hub and Apothecary, 314 N.E. First Ave., suite 101, in Battle Ground; 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Mondays and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Fridays at 7614 N.E. 279th St. in Battle Ground. Classes include gentle poses, meditation and relaxation.
