The Columbia Mothers of Twins Club announced Tawnya Doherty as the 2024 Mother of the Year in a press release on March 19.
Doherty is the mother of identical twin boys, age 2 ½, and a 13-year-old son.
Doherty has been a club member since 2022 and serves as chaplain, hospitality chairmom and collaborates with social media management.
The Columbia Mothers of Twins Club has supported mothers of multiples in Clark County since 1958. Meetings feature discussions on parenting, education and family events.
