Church hosts Adopt-A-Highway cleanup day

Locals are invited to join Battle Ground Community United Methodist Church (BGCUMC) in its inaugural Adopt-A-Highway cleanup day from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 18, along Highway 503, stretching from Northwest Onsdorff to Northeast 132nd Avenue.

Volunteers will gather at the BGCUMC parking lot, 10300 NE 199th St., Battle Ground, on the morning of the cleanup.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. Water will be provided.



“At BGCUMC, we are committed to serving our community and preserving the beauty of Battle Ground,” pastor April Hall said in a press release. “We invite everyone to join us, whether it’s for an hour or the entire morning. Every helping hand makes a difference in keeping Battle Ground beautiful.”
