Furry Friends staff members are looking for a volunteer to join the nonprofit organization as a treasurer.
The position would require about 10-15 hours a month. Duties would include: receive and reconcile bank statements, (after a probationary period) write checks and pay bills, manage the operating account and Building Fund, work cooperatively with the bookkeeper and review financial reports prepared by the bookkeeper; and be a member of the Furry Friends Executive Committee and attend monthly meetings.
The main mission of Furry Friends is finding forever homes for the kitties in their care, but the organization needs qualified people in key positions to make that happen.
