Body recovered in local marina Feb. 14 identified as Ridgefield man

The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the body of a man recovered by divers in the Ridgefield Marina Feb. 14. to be 52-year-old Darren Silver.

Silver, a resident of Ridgefield, was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 6, and his body later recovered by Clark County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team (CCSAR) divers on the evening of Feb. 14.



The City of Ridgefield stated Ridgefield police officers found evidence, Feb. 13, that led them to initiate a search of the marina’s water. The Ridgefield Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol Unit and CCSAR.

Silver’s manner and cause of death is still pending, a Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office news release stated on Thursday, Feb. 22.
